Description:
Immerse yourself in a complete truffle hunting and tasting experience in Tuscany, where nature, gastronomy and local production come together in a truly authentic way.
The experience begins with a real truffle hunt guided by a local expert and trained dogs. After a short introduction, you will walk through the woods near San Gimignano in search of fresh truffles hidden beneath the soil. Every exploration is different, and while the quantity may vary, the thrill of discovery is always part of the experience.
At the end of the experience, each participant will receive a few free fresh truffles, along with precious advice on how to enjoy and enhance them at their best. An unforgettable experience that will bring you into contact with nature and one of its most delicious treasures!
After the truffle hunt, you will move to an organic farm, where the experience continues with a full immersion into Tuscan food culture.
The experience starts with a short introduction to the history and philosophy of the farm, followed by a private tasting of organic and biodynamic products.
You will enjoy a selection of at least four wines, including Vernaccia di San Gimignano and Chianti Colli Senesi, six kinds of extra virgin olive oils, natural and flavored and three kinds of balsamic vinegar.
The truffle lunch comprises four courses: a starter with bruschetta and crostini with fresh truffle and truffle creams, organic pasta with fresh truffle, a second course with fresh truffle, or eggs with fresh truffle. In the end, you will enjoy our dessert of the day.
